What the Bible says about Jesus

The True Light "In him, (the Lord Jesus) was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world,…the world didn’t recognize him." John 1:4,9.
The Good Seed and the Weeds The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seeds in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. Matthew 13:24,25.

TOM HORN: ISRAEL'S SECRET MESSIAH, THE VATICAN, THE CERN COLLIDER: DEMONIC PORTALS

  1. I don't know what to think of Tom Horn. And Jim Bakker, I mean, wasn't he discredited? When I hear Horn talk about the gospel, he sounds right, but some of the stuff he gets into and the stuff particularly in sources like the book of Enoch and the prophecies of Rabbis, I have concern of him helping to stir confusion and focusing on the highly-titillating demonic stuff. I might be wrong or I might be judging based on people who take his stuff outside of a larger context, and I do understand God has different plans for different parts of the body and their role in things. Most particularly in times like these as we are in a transitional period, just as the church was during the time of Christ' ministry on Earth. A change in the "dispensation" if you will. There is so much info to sift through. So I have to confess, I saw this video as "suggested viewing" on youtube when some other video finished, but didn't watch it. There is certainly nothing wrong with knowing what the non-believers are up to. That's part of being wise as serpents, as long as they are also being harmless as doves. That's the question for me. A lot going on!

  2. Yes you are right in applying wisdom and discretion. I don´t care too much for Jim Bakker. He is an entertainer and his is a show. The interaction isn´t that honest if you really look at it from the point of view of Jesus and Paul telling us to speak the truth in love. You can sense when Tom Horn is getting in hot water and back pedals with his cerebral wheels going full speed to avoid falling into a trap of his own doing. We could say that he is being wise too when the show host is trying to make him talk. They have to survive.

Sometimes I wonder what they are all doing being on a show representing different views of the Scriptures; It must be very confusing for the audience, the bigger part of it seeming to have no clue about what´s going on. I guess they are part of the cheer leading section.

But on the other hand, It seems that there are very few among pastors who promote a good, sensible and biblical approach to prophecy that I do not mind these pastors and scholars spending their time enlightening the body of Christ that is in dire need of growing to maturity.

Even Brother J.D. has his little errors. For instance, as much as he is right on the money on his understanding of the end times, I don´t understand why he gets confused and confusing when it comes to the parable of the 10 bridesmaids.

I really like the way Jack Kelley makes it simple to get a good grasp of the difference between Israel and the church. I guess, it´s all a matter of time and sifting the material as we grow in the word, we acquire some knowledge of the word and then after more reading and realizing that it ´s more the tradition of men that the pure word of God, we discard the errors and go on retaining only what helps us on the way. It ´s a matter of attrition and realignment with the plumb line of scripture.

Nowadays I find myself evaluating what people say more and more. Is it what they have heard somebody say or does it come from really studying meditating on the word and getting insights from the Holy Spirit´s illumination without deviating from the primary meaning of the Scriptures? Is it a real experience that the Lord took them through to help them grow and encourage others or are they just repeating what they have heard, copying someones´s dreams and visions just to appear super spiritual?

You can tell when you have eaten good, nutritious food that satisfies and how you need to meditate on it and let it grow into energy, strength and results in profitable activity that lasts more than a half day. I don´t like big conferences anymore. It´s too much of a mixture. I attended the 2nd conference on the Holy Spirit in Charlotte in 1987 in Charlotte and you had every color nuance and shade of Pentecostal, Charismatic teachings and practices all assembled together, a sort of ecumenical disorder.

Jim Bakker came in and I felt sorry for the guy. He learned a hard lesson, but it seems that his son has taken to a strange way of leading a church!!! I didn´t know that Bakker father had a congregation and show until a few months ago.

It´s even worse here in Brazil where there is real confusion in the church at large. Sometimes I am left scratching my head at he things I hear and I see perpetrated and pronounced in the Name of God. It seems that I am on another planet!
What can an unbeliever who has been invited to one of these shows or such a church service where the simple and anointed exposition of the Gospel is preached along with sin, the need for repentance, belief and the growing life of transformation of the Christian experience. They must be confused to say the least and I would be if I attended one of those. Too much food makes a sheep bloated and food that is not chewed well and liquefied tends to ferment and makes one sluggish, unresponsive and is not profitable for anyone.AS you said a lot going on, distraction, entertainment, And still he has told us what to do: to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly before our God. That would be an excellent thing to do any day of the year.
